Testing for lorries, buses and trailers are to restart from 4th July 2020

The DVSA have confirmed that testing for heavy vehicles will restart from 4th July 2020 after halting tests just days before lockdown measures were announced.

Any vehicles due to be tested in March or April have been given two 3-month exemptions. Those due for a test in May through to August will get one 3-month exemption.

According to the DVSA statement this will help them manage demand as they resume testing. The exemptions will be applied automatically and you will not receive an exemption certificate.
